We take pride in having quality educators, support staff and administration as members of our team. Program staff are Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) or have similar qualifications, or child focused education.
All staff members of Beacons of Light have the following qualifications:

Clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

10 hours of mandatory professional development completed annually

Tanya
Child Care Director
Founder of Beacons of Light Daycare in 2002, Tanya works behind the scenes to keep the centre running. Focusing on accounts receivable, payable, fundraising, government programming and community funding to support the centre.

Jessica
Child Care Administrator Assistant
Jessica began her journey at the daycare in 2002 as a recipient of care. Over the years, she transitioned into roles such as toddler teacher, school age teacher, and cook. As of 2002, she has taken on the role of assistant administrator, overseeing payroll, bookkeeping, and various administrative tasks.

Julie
Child Care Supervisor
Julie runs the day to day operations of the centre, focusing on staff management, family recruitment, child care fees, and monitoring the overall happenings of the centre each day.
